Weyerhauser Timber Company's (WTCX) TE53-1-4E #310 originally built by GE in 8/62 as Union Pacific U25B 637, retired by UP 9/72; Sold to Morrison-Knudsen and became MK 12; rebuilt with an EMD 16-567B prime mover and D12 generator from a retired B&O F7; to Weyerhauser 310 on 12/24/75; transferred from Weyerhauser's Headquarters Division to OC&E in 1979, in mid-1980 became OC&E 8012. Image was taken in the early morning before sunrise. |
